New Video: Trey Songz, “Never Again”

Trey-Songz-Never-Again

Happy Friday all!!! The weekend is here once again!!! I have loads of Christmas shopping to still do, so this song may go into my weekend rotation.

Trey Songz has released the next video installment, “Never Again,” from his latest album, “Chapter V.” In the video, Trey Songz croons to a phantom woman he reminisces about & the love he will “never again” have. It’s a nice up-tempo song I can two-step to while on line at the dry cleaners.

This song will also allow me to pardon that ridiculous  “2 Reasons” song. I guess they can’t all be winners.

Kimora Lee Simmons To Return To TV With “Kimora: House of Fab”

Kimora

After a brief break from television, Kimora Lee Simmons will be returning to the small screen with her new show, “Kimora: House of Fab.” The show, set to air on The Style Network, will follow Kimora in her day-to-day duties as President and Creative Director of  JustFab. Unlike her previous show, “Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane,” the show will be more business conscious and less personal.

“My businesses have evolved a bit. My former life is gone. I have sold all of those companies from my prior life, and my new project is JustFab.com. This is all about fashion and the tech sector, and how I have married fashion to the tech aspect, and that’s a big thing. This is an office environment with more of an ensemble. It is more like ‘The Office’ or ‘Ugly Betty.’ It is a team of people at all times, with lots of coming and going. It is less of my kids and my personal side.”

Considering her recent breakup from Djimon Hounsou, this may be for the best.

The show will premiere January 23rd at 9pm on The Style Network.

Thoughts? Yoko Ono For Opening Ceremony

In Today’s, “Things That Make You Go Hmmm,” we explore the designs of legendary icon, Yoko Ono.

On Tuesday, Opening Ceremony released a collection derived from sketches Ono created as a wedding gift to her husband, John Lennon, in 1969.

The retailer’s co-founder, Humberto Leon, told The Daily Beast,

“She really wanted to celebrate every part that she loved about him.”

If that’s true, then honey, she left no room for misinterpretation. Sheesh!!!

I am a wild child at heart, so it’s rare I give anything the WTF 3rd eye. Leave it to Yoko to make my inner prude go, Oh No.

Read more about her inspiration and her choice to collaborate with OC.

Moral Of The Story: You can’t say she isn’t extraordinary.

Kevin Hart “Turns” It Up To Rihanna

I have been laughing since 10 am & thought it would be a bit selfish not to share.

A big congrats to my animal spirit, Rihanna, on her first US #1 album with “Unapologetic.” That’s just how Febbie babies do it!!!

I was perusing  Necole Bitchie’s website to get my celebrity fix when I stopped at a post about Rihanna & “Pour It Up,” the potential followup to “Diamonds.”  P.I.U.  is going to be my 2013 anthem. I am claiming it!!! “Birthday Cake” was totally me this year.

Can we have a moment for how ridiculously funny Kevin Hart is? Apparently his Thanksgiving was filled with getting “turned up.”

Enjoy!!!

First Look: Vogue: The Editor’s Eye

If you have ever opened the covers of Vogue and found yourself gaping with awe at the styling, you’re not alone. Take a gander at this trailer of HBO’s “Vogue: The Editor’s Eye” airing December 6. The film steps behind the camera to learn what it takes to become a stylist in an industry that feeds on its gray areas.

The film

“highlights the visual and historical contribution Vogue editors past and present (including Polly Allen MellenGrace Coddington, and Camilla Nickerson) have made not only to the magazine, but also to the world of fashion itself.”

Polyvore Creates Mobile App

Polyvore, the site that allows the inner stylist in us a chance to play Barbie, has finally created a mobile app available exclusively on iPhone.

The app’s easy accessibility with the smart phone “drag and drop” feature makes it simple to create an outfit anywhere at anytime, and if you’re even remotely like me, you’re truly thankful. On many occasions, I have been caught standing in the middle of a store with my eyes closed. No I am not retail meditating, just trying to build an outfit in my mind. To hell with your judgment.
