It has begun!!! Season 2 of “In The Circle: Dreams of Newark” is underway and I could not be more excited.
I, admittedly, hate seeing and hearing myself on camera. We’re all our own worst critics. Grrrrr. It is what it is, right?
It was interesting meeting my castmates for the first time. It kinda felt like when you’re the new kid to a new school in a new town. You don’t know anyone & are afraid you’ll be misconceived. No matter how old you are, the 5 year old in the back of your mind still whispers, “Will they like me?” from time to time. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they weren’t of a pretentious nature, and I love my mates to death.
I am the queen of goofy. I crack a lot of jokes, I bust stupid dope moves just about anywhere, and I really, really love life.
Like my homie Cenzo said,
“She was just full of life and energy.”
Just like this website, I actively strive to live the life I set out for myself & be the best me I can be.
Life is to be enjoyed.
So let’s get to the seemingly controversial, “don’t want to go too deep” comment.
It amazes me that out of everything that transpired in those 20 minutes, that tiny little blurp rings so heavily.
Note: Before I go on, I AM NOT in the business of explaining myself. I fly by my own rules and people will draw their conclusions regardless of what you say. So this will be the first and last time I concentrate on doing so.
The “too deep” comment stems from my current state of mind. I am going through a “Shallow Sensibility” phase in my life, which was explained yet was not aired. To put it plainly, I have an appreciation for entertainment that is not what one would consider intellectually stimulating. I enjoyed the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy & I blast Rihanna to volume capacity.
In fact, if you regular this blog, this is not the first time I have stated my love for the “shallow.”
My comment wasn’t directed in a negative manner towards LaToya. That’s my lovebug. She emanates positive energy, so who could have a problem with her?
You can fast forward to the 15:00 Minute Mark to catch what all of the hubbub is about.
What do you think? Was it that serious?
Moral Of The Story: Those who want to interpret my words into something ugly & wrong, by all means go ahead. The actions of others will never alter the stride in my walk.
