I tell people all of the time that buying haute couture is fabulous… if you can afford it. If you can’t, why suffer your finances? Ladies & Gentlemen, act your wage.
I have been lusting over these Valentino Rockstud Sandals for some time. They play on my love of a classic, T-strap pointed toe pump plus a dose of edge with the stud work. The two-tone option is just an added bonus. The pumps from Valentino Garavani also feature a buckle fastening ankle strap & leather covered 4″ stiletto heel with a leather sole.
However, Valentino’s price ranges are a little out of my league right now, so my heart was left yearning.
That is, until a quaint email from Sole Society was sent to me by the finance savvy fashion gods.
Sole Society’s “Margie” Studded Pump also feature a T-strap build with ankle strap and stud detail created out of faux patent leather.
They clearly are not identical, but you can’t deny the resemblance. And for $49.95 honey, I can rip the runway without ripping a hole in my pocket. And though I am letting my credit cards cool off right now, it’ s nice to know a girl has options. See more side by side comparisons below:
Moral Of The Story: Before you spend on your rent money on high fashion items, such around and find alternatives. Learn to shop smart and save your money. You worked hard for it!!! As my mother would say, “Stop Majoring in the Minor and Minoring in the Major.”
