Remember when we told you that rumor had it Beyonce would be, in some form or fashion, involved in a collaboration with H&M?
Well apparently those rumors were true!!!
Beyonce stars in H&M’s newest Summer 2013 advertising campaign aptly named, “Beyoncé as Mrs. Carter in H&M“, the name appropriately titled to correlate with her upcoming The Mrs. Carter Show world tour.
The singer/songwriter/actress/designer/model/mommy/wife/every-other-imaginable-title will be clad in ensembles similar to her sense of fashion for television commercials, print ads and billboards. She also had input in the creation of the collection.
What can you expect from the line?
“The perfect body-con dress”, high waist shorts, thigh high split beach gown, sleeveless shirt and a tie-dyed bikini from the H&M for Water range, with a quarter of the sales donated to the WaterAid charity.
“They are full of her own personal style,” said Ann-Sofie Johansson, head of design at H&M.
Beyonce on her decision to sign on with H&M:
“I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements – fire, water, earth and wind.”
The entire collection will be available for purchase online and in stores this May. Will you be copping some pieces?
