If you’re like the millions of us who love an outfit but have no idea where to buy its pieces, well now, there’s an app for that!
According to Shazam CEO Andrew Fisher, the app is a move to create more “media engagement”, an effort to ease the translation from television to real world, providing more fluidity from brand to consumer without the extra search engine middle man in between.
“We have the ability to identify the product in a TV show so that when somebody Shazams it, they could find out where a presenter’s dress is from in one click,”
Fisher told the Guardian.
No word as to the release of the new app, but we will certainly keep you posted as news develops.
