Runway To Real World: Spring 2013 Trend Forecast- White Hot

spring-2013-white

Jump start your Spring in all white!!! Though this writer has an unrealistic paranoia of the neutral color for its gravitational pull on stains,  all white everything is the fashion equivalent to a rain dance in a drought. Bring on the summer!!!

Throw away traditional reservations of the color and dare to wear the hue before Memorial Day *gasps* and even long after Labor Day if the weather permits. *faints*

For a delicately charming style, be lovely in lace, as was displayed by Valentino,

Or opt for the futuristic sex siren with PVC cutouts like Alexander Wang.

Be cool and chic out to dinner in a cotton or linen creation similar to this Pucci pants suit,

And try on a hint of boldness in an embroidered  jumpsuit like the runways of Giambattista Valli.

For those evenings that haven’s quite reached its warm weather potential, take a look out of the Mulberry playbook by adding a lace blouse to wide leg trousers and stark white jacket.

Peacock’s Rule Of Thumb:  There is none. Other than following the similar guidelines as the other   monochromatic looks this season, the only way to ruin an all white outfit is with a glass of Pinot Noir.

Get started on the white track (see what I did there?) with these pieces for everyone from tomboy chic to glamazon style.
