No, not more Beyonce propaganda. Not really.
Instead, Drake has released the first of two promised songs to be unveiled this week, the former affectionately titled, “Girls Love Beyonce” featuring James Fauntleroy. Sans the title and the initial mention of the “Grown Woman,” Drake steers away from the superstar and focuses on his empty, unfulfilled love life. Think of this as the reprise to “Marvin’s Room.”
Whilst Drake uses the track as a public confessional, Fauntleroy sings melodically along, incorporating the Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name” into the chorus.
Drake’s third studio album, Nothing Is The Same, is due for release this summer.
Are you happy to see that ole Drake back?
