First Look: H&M Fall/Winter 2013-2014 Collection Lookbook

Though Summer has yet to grace us with its presence, Fall and Winter will quickly blast us right back out of sunny delirium. Dismal truth to living in the Northeast. LOL

As is,  inspired by Louis XIV, H&M debuted their first French collection this February during Paris Fashion Week.

And though the collection reminds me more of matadors than macarons, the collection is a lovely assemblage of pieces that I am sure will please all whose eyes .

It’s all about the details for these styles as theycome packed to capacity with fringe, tassels, floral cutouts, and sequin.

Included is this fringe covered clutch that reminds me of an abbreviated version of Carrie’s Fendi bag circa Burger.

I adore these fringe covered pants as well though definitely for someone with with an inconceivable amount of style. They are center stage worthy and to be pared down with a simple camisole and barely there shoe.

Again, I can’t help but connect to fashion’s past: is this not Mr. Michael Jackson and his “Rock With You” era?

This low-hi sequin sweatshirt though? *puts on must-have list*

Men’s and Sportswear inspired jackets are tailored to Utopian standards. Overcoats and vests are the perfect complement to whimsical dresses perfect for Spring and Fall (and the Tango. I’m just saying lol)

The offerings are exactly what you should expect from H&M. Dripping in high end execution mixed strategically to create affordable finds.
