Sarah Jessica Parker To Design Shoe Collection

Oh. My.

There are very few occasions that this lovely young writer is readily willing to offer up her ovaries (and paycheck) to the fashion gods in exchange for a feather of their favor. But, in this very moment, I am willing to fork over part of a piece of my baby making machine for a taste of their sweet fashion benevolence.

What am I talking about you ask?

Why, I am talking about Carrie Bradshaw’s Sarah Jessica Parker’s new shoe collection!!!! *tilts head and screams to the heavens* YESSSSS!!!!!!

After her brief stint as designer for her defunct low-end clothing line, Bitten (how many of you still have those tee shirts? *raises hand*), Parker will partner with Manolo Blahnik’s CEO George Malkemus for the debut of her new SHOE COLLECTION, SJP.

Amen Jesus. Amen.

In addition to shoes, the consortium will also include bags and trench coats of your choosing.

Designed with knockout color combos and inspired by the ’70s and ’80s, you’ll definitely wish you had these in your style arsenol.

We’re putting new colors together that people don’t typically do, just beautiful combinations that you wish existed in your closet… And in terms of bags, thinking about that period of the seventies into the eighties, what those women were carrying, taking away the bells and the whistles and hardware and really making it about the bag.

The collection will premiere exclusively in Nordstrom early next year with price ranges starting at $200.

Fact: There is nothing Peacock Under Pressure about this. We want you to live within your means. Find trends within your budget. But hell, I am a broke 25 year old woman with a sickening love for shoes and jewelry. I will be saving so I can get whatever the eff I want from this collection!!! LOL now that’s Peacock!!!

I promise to keep you posted with more details. But for now, start saving those coins!!!

Be Extraordinary- Alyssa Peacock
