Though the summer season is JUST kicking off, before you know it, it will be over, and we’ll be unpacking our winter wares once more. #GrimButTrue
My favorite parts of the winter months are the holidays!!! Ahh, the silver lining. And holiday movies are the best!!!
As is the case for the Kasi Lemmons-directed musical, “Black Nativity.”
Jennifer Hudson stars as a single mother on the verge of eviction during the holidays who is forced to send her son, played by Jacob Latimore to her Harlemite affluent though estranged parents, Angela Bassett and Forest Whitaker.
The star-studded cast also includes Nas, Mary J. Blige and Tyrese Gibson.
With lots of musical reworkings and touching moments, I am sure this movie will warm the coldest winter chill.
“Black Nativity” in theatres November 27.
