I think Target really understands how to merge high fashion appeal with mass market prices. In the past, I have waxed on and on about their beautiful creations that make me unapologetically salivate (see: Prabal, Phillip, Peter). So it’s no surprise that the Altuzarra collaboration continues to perpetuate my praise.
After much deliberation, Kate Spade New York has announced Altuzarra the winner of a full-page ad in this year’s Vogue September issue. The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund and Kate Spade initiative was an effort to increase brand exposure and expansion through varying marketing techniques expressed in three month long designer seminars.
The designers, including Cushnie et Ochs, Robert Geller, Pamela Love and Albertus Swanepoel, were asked to present full-page concepts for Vogue as their final projects.
Yay to Altuzarra! Can’t wait to see the ad this September.
