Before being a model was worthy of celebrity status, they were living mannequins used to display the art of fashion. Alexander Wang channels this form with the ultra cinematic route for his debut collection as Balenciaga’s creative director.
Kristen McMenamy models pieces from Wang’s debut collection which appeared at Paris Fashion Week this past February. The campaign shot by Steven Klein focuses on the ziggurat of the clothing, not the form of the model with Kristen’s face cut off.
The fasll campaign will make its first appearance in June 2013 publications, so keep your eyes peeled.
Ready for some H&M dopeness? Hannes and Mauritz will return to the runways this season for Paris Fashion Week. The Swedish retailer will debut its resurgence with 25 looks from its fall 2013 women’s collection at Musée Rodin, known to host the likes of Yves Saint Laurent and Dior. It has been eight years since H&M has staged a fashion show, so if you’re like me, you cannot wait to see what they are serving up. X marks the spot February 27.

The store will provide customers with a team of 40 make-up artists, a false eyelash bar, make-up classes and VIP rooms for private make-up classes plus be open for operation from 10:00 AM to midnight everyday of the year. Très chic!
